I lost 50 lbs. 8 years ago on Weight Watchers, but unfortunately gained it back and more. So, feeling desperate, I joined several times over the last few years (online and also attending meetings), without success. You lose MUCH slower on the new Points Plus program. Years ago I averaged 2 lbs. a week, and felt immediate success. I lost weight on the new program extremely slowly and did not feel successful at all. I don't like the point system, or believe the "free fruits" and extra weekly points (which I never used) help with the weight loss journey. You don't learn proper portion size very well because the program makes suggestions, but you are basically free to eat as much of whatever you want as long as it is covered in your daily "points."

Feeling pretty hopeless I decided to try something new and joined Nutrisystem in April and have lost 40 lbs. as of August. The low-glycemic diet, which includes added snacks (you add your own veggies, fruits & dairy) and dessert has made losing weight and being in control again possible. I've learned correct portion sizes and have hope for the future now. I thought the cost would be a hinderance, but surprisingly my monthly grocery budget has not increased! Show's how much I was spending on extras and very large meals and snacks. I recommend Nutrisystem!

I have tried both Jenny and Nutri-System. First, I agree with the other reviews about the center consultants at JC. They are not motivating and interaction feels forced and not genuine. As for Nutri-System, I feel more engaged by the their phone consultants and customer service reps (they do not have centers, haven't for years). Second, The cost is not cheap on either but more affordable with Nutri-System and good discounts. Lastly, it is very convenient having your food shipped to your home as with Nutri-System. You don't have to worry about making a center visits to lug home all your food (in my case on the subway)! JC apparently, is trying to compete with NS with home deliveries as well. Overall, Nutri-System is the best for me and the food is really yummy considering it's diet food!

I have lost 46 lbs on Nutrisystem in 5 months. I am thrilled!! I enjoy the food and have found I like many of the add in foods that I didn't think I would enjoy. The cost is less than I was spending each month in the cafeteria where I work, and and that was just for breakfast and lunch there 5 days a week.

Nutrisystem has a fanastic support system, both on their website (in the forms of chats, blogs, forums, the mindset makover, live chats with counselers, etc) and on the phone (their customer service is the BEST!!) And, I am never hungry!

Nutrisystem truly gives you everything you need to succeed. I will recommend it to anyone who asks!
