I am pleased to read about the Jenny Craig program. I too was tempted to join but obsticles kept me from making that appt. I will go back to Nutrisystem. I thought the food would help more because it would seem like a personal cook and I would not have to deal with measuring and cooking. But I have changed my mind by reading your blogs. Thankyou very much.

I joined jenny craig 3 weeks ago. I have lost 7 pounds. During the 3 weeks I have been going there I am really wondering if this program works since 4 out of the 5 councelors there are bigger than I am. Have they done this program? What is wrong with it? How can you have jenny craig wieght loss councelors so overweight? Im not talking a few pounds overweight, Im talking like 30,40 and 50 pounds overweight. I does not give me alot of confidence in this program.

I joined Jenny Craig in 1995. I am a diabetic and my Dr. recommended the after I had my child that I should try to take some of my baby weight off. He thought Jenny Craig would be a good program for me to try... I purchased a "Life Time Membership" at Jenny Craig,so I could return to the Program whenever I put a few extra pounds on. After about 7 years of going on and off the program, I decided to seriously stick with it for 3 months. I went in to the same office that I'd been going to all along(approximately 7 months ago) and purchased around $150.00 worth of food. They called me two days later and told me that I could no longer be on the Program because of my Diabetes. Needless to say, I was astounded and hurt. When I told my Dr. about this, he actually told me to call the American Diabetes Foundation and put a complaint in. I spoke to many different people at Jenny's Corporate Office and they all said that I couldn't return to the program! After all those years, they changed the rules on me. The bad part about all this is they STILL send me coupons asking me to come back! Unbelievable, but true.
