Jenny Craig Reviews

I am grateful for these reviews on Jenny Craig. I was thinking of trying them, but now see the program as a waste of money. Thanks

Hello all,
I am, once again, looking for a diet to go on and
was contemplating my old friend of 2o years, Jenny
Craig. I have lost between 25 and 60 lbs. on this diet during my many return visits over the years. The problems are, it is so very expensive, I ALWAYS gain the weight back, it takes forever to loose the weight plus,
in recent years, I have noticed a huge attitude
change in the counselors. The majority of them are
overweight with some positively obese. It makes
you wonder. Plus, I don't think they really care. The food is over one hundred dollars a week now. I went on medifast last year and lost 45 pounds in 3 months. Unfortunately, the nano second I ate real food (i.e. Thanksgiving) I couldn't follow it anymore and gained all that weight back plus 20. It is extremely discouraging.
After reading the comments on this website... I don't think I am going back to Jenny. I don't know
what to do. In reference to Kirsty Alley, she has been doing the Jenny Craig thing for something like
two years or more. She has obviously gained some weight back (the last commercial with Valerie B.) but I have to say. Her results ARE typical. I always
gain the weight back as have everyone of my friends that have done Jenny or, sadly, any other diet we have tried. Good luck to all of us. At least we are still trying.

My husband and I joined JC two weeks ago. We both have, so far stuck totally to the program. He has lost appox. 6 pounds and I have lost 4. After reading all the comments, I am beginning to think we did the wrong thing. We were not given a choice to programs, and of course we joined the Plantinum Life program.

I was originally a member of JC when Jenny Craig was still alive. The program was very rigid, wkly mtgs a must and the employees were thin. (They wore white uniforms.) They knew the program backwards and forwards and made you feel like somebody. I lost 50 lbs.

I walked into the door a couple of weeks ago, after all these years and was amazed at the size of the employees and their dress. Also the program has been altered completely. No regimentation whatsoever. My husband and I will continue for awhile, as we bought the entire program, but not happy about it.

PS On our first visit back, the counselor we had, stated she was going to be using all her calories drinking vodka over the week end and go back on the program Monday. Doesn't that put things into prospective!!
