I paid "BIG BUCKS" in Jan. 2008 and was told and also have a written contract that I was a lifetime member and would always receive at least 30% off all food. I have paid a fee each year of $49.00 as well to keep my original contract perks and now I am being told they are phasing out my plan. I did not get any sort of warning from the company. I only found out when I called to let them know I wanted to return this month. This is a Bad Business Move. Watch out for false promises from Jenny Craig.

After reading several reviews across the internet, I don't think JENNY CRAIG will be my solution for 2012.

I refuse to deal with UNPROFESSIONAL, IGNORANT, RUDE and INCONSIDERATE people, especially when I AM the one PAYING! To me the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT and when you complain to management, it should NEVER, EVER be an ignorant answer as one of these ladies received! My theory is: RUDE REPRESENTATIVE = IGNORANT MANAGER BEHIND IT!

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post comments on websites so the rest of us can learn from other people's mistakes.

I went to Jenny Craig in Monroeville, PA on and off for a few years. The most I ever lost was 17lbs.. Once the management changed at the Monroeville location, the service went way downhill.

The new manager has no customer relation skills and was downright rude. She put a policy in place stating that the client representatives could not inform their clents when they would be out of the office because she feared that it would drive their no-show rates up. However, this resulted in my client rep. being away for 2 weeks in a row and me showing up for my appointment and no one there to see me, UNACCEPTABLE!

When I complained to the manager she stated "It's not my problem, what do you want from me!" I never went back and they refused to give me a refund even though I signed up for a life time membership. If you can afford JC it does work, but as mentioned by other people, get clear pricing up front, check out the counselors at your location and whatever you do DON'T GO TO JC IN MONROEVILLE, PA!
