I love Bistro MD. I'm on my 5th month and have lost 30 pounds. The food is wonderful and a great variety. My HgbA1c (I'm a diabetic) was down to 7.5 - best yet, getting close to normal. All of my blood sugars are below 170, an emense improvement, and my doctor reduced my insulin. I prefer the texture and taste of Bistro MD food over nutrisystem and if those on nutrisystem tried Bistro MD, they would never go back to NutriSystem!

On my 2nd week with Bistro MD and have lost 9 pounds so far! The food is good, I am a picky eater and some of the items are not ones I would have ever chosen but everything has tasted very good. I miss salad and fruits and since I am a stress eater there have been a few times this week I have wanted to eat not because I am hungry but because I am stressed. The easy prep and the good taste will keep me on this program longer it's so easy. I am a diabetic and my insulin needs have decreased by 20% - a huge plus. Overall I would say this is the best tasting and easiest program I have ever tried. I have lots of weight to lose as I am over 300 pounds but so far this is working.

Even tho' Ive only done this for 2 weeks, I love how easy they make this. I might have a moment or 2 that I feel hunger but it goes away pretty quickly. Im a sugar addict, and thus far, eating these meals keeps my sugar need at bay, and for me, that is a miracle. Yes, it's pricey, but I have wasted so much money on other diet fads that didn't work, that I feel i owe it to myself to try something that is not a gimmick. So many foods to choose from, and everyone from your own personal nurse to those keeping track of your profile, to those packaging your order, to those in billing are the very nicest people you could ever deal with. The food comes "professionally packaged" with your weekly menu on how you should eat what you chose for that week. Ive deducted $100. a week from my home grocery order allowance and my husband agreed to cover the rest of these diet packages to see how it will work for me and Im greatful he is supportive in this as well. Imagine getting to pick your meals...this whole concept is amazing. My husband wanted me to do Nutri system, I knew from word of mouth, how much I would be throwing away from their diet packages and that to me was way too costly. And the bottom line, Ive lost 5+lbs since starting this and my first week was trial and error since I had not made my dislikes known. ive taken steps and joined Curves and look forward to success for the first time in 20 yrs.
